Ugh, those Superfast wheels make me cringe! :duh: Switch those out with some new 5-spokes, and that is one heck of a model.

As usual, fantastic pictures, Daniel. You always manage to impress me, everytime!

I like the last one but I added a couple more. Sometimes I just feel I have to post (diecast addiction?) Thanks for the kind words though I have to admit I was half stepping on this one.

Sweet pics! I agree with Nicolas about the wheels. The wheels almost give the casting a maisto look.

Really?? I actually like the Superfast wheels! Unlike Maisto, the plastic they use actually give them, IMHO, a high quality look and feel. And MBX guys can immediately tell it's a Superfast. Great looking car. Definitely way better than the yellow one, especially given that this casting is a few years old AND has proper rear light tampos.

You talk as if it was a collectors model,it a $ toy for a 2 year old and he does not gave a monkies foot what wheels it has.

Thank you, for your positive, constructive comments. I appreciate them! :)

Unfortunately, it seems as if I have been targeted by rude remarks lately. It's funny how age doesn't necessarily mean maturity.

I was surprised to see the detailed lights. I was going to say something in my sarcastic way as usual. Big kids call these collector cars even if it designed to keep children busy and cost a buck. I would give two monkey-foots if the donkey-cart wheels were on my 5 dollar cars.

This is not true. I am sure it cost alittle more than a dollar and the least recommended age is 3+ years.....LOL

I have to agree about the wheels. Matchbox does not have the best track record about using the most attractive wheels on their cars. I guess that's better than the colored glass on Hot Wheels cars.

I agree with you and Daniel. Don't let a few remarks affect you. Keep doing what you're doing! I know that we here on the garage appreciate it!

And I'm pretty sure the Superfast and Lesney lines were aimed at collectors. I really don't see a parent picking up a Superfast for their kid when there are the mainline $1 cars on the peg next to the Superfasts'. Just my opinion.
