Recently, I was given a well-used No. 3 Mercedes Benz Binz Ambulance.

It is missing the door and stretcher

I can get a reproduction stretcher, but can't find the rear door

Is it possible to find a reproduction rear door?

If this is the larger "KING" size Matchbox, you'll probably have a lot better luck than finding parts for the small scale stuff. Look for the venders that carry Corgi and Dinky spares and you should find what you are looking for fairly easily. Steve Flowers is one name I hear often repeated, but I have never dealt with him and I don't know if he is willing to ship outside the UK.

If need be, I can point you to a site that deals with restorations primarily of larger scale Corgi and Dinky, and the guys there have a series of sources they get their spares from, but again we are back to shipping from England or Europe.

I do know one of the guys works out of...Wisconsin?...somewhere in the northern mid-west, he goes by the handle Dr. Dinky, and he is a professional diecast restorer. I may be able to put you in touch with him.

I have four No. 3c Mercedes Benz 'Binz' ambulances for sale - the cheapest is $5. The paint is good with a few chips; the rear door is intact with full paint.

I realize you are looking for just the door but for $5........ I'll ship it free to Virginia. Shoot me a PM if interested.
