paint is kinda of weak. I like the car but under the lens just tells too much.

That's not a Fusion. That's a Taurus.

According to Ford, it's not even a Taurus. They are adamant it is a Police Interceptor, and not a Taurus.....

New casting? Quick! Take it apart!
Hey, Dean! TPI replaces CVPI? I don't think so..NHP and Las Vegas Metro are buying the EPI--Explorer Police Interceptor, and they like it a lot. I got to play in one of the NHP cars. I have yet to see the "non" Taurus in service.

A few extra lighting details would make a huge difference on this car.

Finally! Someone who gets it! :bowing:

But it really is a Taurus. But I refrain from calling it that to keep Ford happy.

Support your local demo derby.

I changed the topic title to reflect the correct model. In all fairness to Daniel, it is easy to get newer Fords mixed up . . . Fusion, Taurus, 500 all have been used or interchanged on models at some point in the last 5 years or so.

I call it the Taurus and Police Interceptor interchangeably. It really doesn't matter. Just call it the Taurus SHO, and it's close enough. Same engine (3.5L EcoBoost), all-wheel drive, and all of those goodies.

Anyways, great pics! Love this livery, and I think it's my favorite version (although, the 2013 "demo model" livery is pretty darn close).

Doesn't look bad in your pics Daniel.

This "Fargo" design is a version I never found, must have been popular.

I don't think it looks bad either. Sure, there are many Mattel diecast that would be transformed by painting in a few more details. Or better wheels. But that's what you get for the price. All things considered, this one looks pretty good. And it could be a customizing project that would turn out fairly impressive.

Frankly, Daniel...I would love to see you amp up this car and do some comparison pics. Then you can send the finished version to me :P

They did a pretty good job on this one. I just wish it had head and tail lights.

:toy: For some reason I really like the "Fargo" version of the new Interceptor. :D It took me a while to find it but find it I did. Quite a few departments, including the highway patrol, are using the new Interceptor. It would look even sharper with front and rear light tampos.

Yes, it's true that the CHP doesn't use the Police Interceptor. However, in GTA V, there is a police cruiser based on this awesome police car. The LAPD has currently ordered 38 for service.

There's a Charger-based cruiser, too, but it is EXTREMELY rare. I have only found ONE in my ENTIRE time playing it,
