I like the new one better, but would like it even more if it were a little more Mini (i. e. smaller). :)

:toy: Maybe it is my age but I like the older version better. It would have been nice if MB had made the new one just a bit smaller so one would think Mini but still not a bad casting. :D

Both are really nice castings, but I'll take the older one for its brighter colors, picture box, metal base and smaller wheels.

Oh for sure the older mini. I have one of those in orange (I think it says "racing mini" on the bottom?). One thing we can't do with photos is hold/feel them. Once you factor that in, the old one wins by a mile.

I have the original Racing Mini that was my Dad's. I have for some reason, never purchased either the 60th or mainline version of the current classic mini. I wonder why the original is smaller. I wonder why Matchbox has done a convertible BMW Mini, but not a hardtop one.
