Both are worthy makers, so the differences are slight and really just a judgment call.

Support your local demo derby.

The model year is wrong on both if I'm not mistaken. The Revell one to me looks like a better effort with more realistic stance and wheel size. The GL looks pudgy compared vs Revell's offering.

Wes, both Chargers are '68s not '69. Its hard for me to pick one from the other as of likes and dislikes. Each brand did a good job on their version of the casting. I don't have the Revell copy in my collection as the Bullitt Charger but I do have their lame attempt on the Fast and Furious Charger which like other diecast companies used an existing casting to fill the spot which was the 1968 Charger R/T.

I do agree with Zach the Revell has a better look as for as ride height but I do tend to lean slightly in favor of the GL version as for overall look in the casting. I might not be the best judge in this case because I am extremely partial to this generation Charger and I normally collect this car whenever possible by any of the brands.....LOL

The 68,69 and 70 Chargers are very close.Yes the cars pictured are 68.The give away is the round tail lights. The 69 has a split front grill and long tail lights. The 70 also has the long tail lights however the front grill goes back to unsplit 68 style although has a chrome ring is added around the grill. The Fast and Furious Charger is a 70.

A funny side note.Take a close look at an original Thunder-Jet slot car.It has 68 tail lights and a 69 front grill. Its a 68 1/2 lol.The design department dropped the ball on that one.
