You mentioned not having a guide to MBX wheels...I assure, the list is out there, if you want to shell out the bucks. MBX collectors get extremely Anorak about their wheels. Type, color, material used, diameter, width, tread pattern...and on it goes. Look up a Stannard's guide to see what I mean. Hardcore regular wheel MBX collectors live and die by Stannard's.

Christian Falkensteiner has a very comprehensive and publicly viewable guide to wheels here:

Here's the Yatming wheel types compiled by Pegers (Dan) sometime back, I think this is what James was referring to.

Ummm, why?

They are already pinned at the top of their respective boards.

By big three did you mean HW, MBX and JL?

If so, South Texas Diecast has an image database of wheel types for HW, Harvestman just posted a link for C. Falkensteiner's site (thanks! I didn't know that one.) covering MBX and I know you already know Wyatt's JLCollector site. What links are needed? Pretty sure there's some other reference resources pinned at the front page of the database too, for stuff like Playart and Corgi jr. (Gary's Cars).

I guess I was thinking to put the link in an obvious place at the top of the bay here, as the post in the thread would slowly move out of site, I guess I could visit each one and save it as a favorite.

I tend to use Swiftys as a one stop shopping experiance for diecast.

Well, that's why I am pinning them to the top of their respective bays, and once we have it all together we *might* pull it all into one place and post at the top of the database board, but that is far enough ahead that I don't wish to make any promises just yet.

Ah, that's why I didn't find it.... it's in the Garage, not the Database like your newly created wheel guides.

Maybe it could be duplicated and added to the Yatming Database so that it is consistent with the placement of the other wheel guides (?).

Great minds think alike....I actually posted a link to that and pinned it at the front of the Yatming database this morning! That seemed the safest (meaning not accidentally deleting while attempting to copy) and most efficient way of tying the reference to the database.

I *could* just move it there, but I think those that already know where it is are likely comfortable with it as is.

I'm sure Swifty would welcome the addition. Send him or Dean-o-mite a PM telling them you would like to contribute, and I'm sure they would open up a board for you to do so. Thank you for the offer!
