62 Belaire Wagon wasn't in the dollar line. I know I've seen it a few times in the Transporters, and likely singly in some of the premium lines.![]() My only loose copy Not sure I would compare with JL...even the LC era. For instance, I have a Maisto Pontiac Bonneville, 59 or 60 I forget which. Great that they did one, nobody else bothered. And I love it, really I do. But it is just a little cartoony for a lot of guys tastes. ![]() You know I like my Muscle Machines, so I can certainly live with a touch of cartoony. When I ran this model for CotD, I got a lot of feedback from guys that just didn't care for this one...because of how cartoony it is. I think a lot of the premium issue Maistos do have a bit of this cartoony thing going on. Not a bad thing if you are into it, but a lot of guys aren't. |

None of the premium series cars ("AllStars" "Playerz" etc) were ever crossover castings with the basic line. So the Chevy station wagon was exclusive to the higher end series. The only almost-exception would be a couple of the basic range cars, which were released with the nicer wheels and rubber tires, such as the '10 Camaro in the Need For Speed series. |

I agree the nold makers for Maisto just don't get it all the time, the customize the casting by enlarging one area and shrinking another, they constantly put on oversized wheels, but on the good size they aften tackle cars that no one else has done up in small scale. Maisto needs to get back in the game with some of the stuff they had out a few years ago, Muscle machines may be the death of them yet. |

Only old ones (80s/90s), traded my two newest to HarvestManMan since they were two of his grails and I didn't need them anymore. If anything I'm a serious Corgi or Zylmex collector... |

So I voted for more than 50, however I'm less serious about them now than I was before 10 years ago or so. I don't know how many I have, a tub or two full, many are still carded, but I include their Tonka and GI Joe series' I have as well as a number of the small semi rigs. Most of what I liked of the brands models haven't changed colors since, or if they have changed in some way, they've changed to something less desirable to me, like the goofy wheels they'd been using. Some of their premium series of more recent years were pretty nice, but I may have only picked up one or two emergency vehicles of those, can't remember which, they are packed away. I still occasionally look through the basic range to see if an attractive new truck, or emergency vehicle design shows up, but I haven't actually found any I wanted in a couple or few years. |
