Hello All, Thought it would be fun to post these fresh pics of my current collection.Going through the data base I see none of them listed and wonder if they could be a worthy entry. Eric |

Nice early Zylmexes! Dyna-Wheels were their lowest-priced line, in the early 70s they were simple fantasy castings, later on they were roughly on par with plastic-based Yat Mings and weren't fantasy castings. The Lotus, Jaguar, Miura, Bubble (Hot Wheels Silhouette copy), Dragster (Hot Wheels Gran Toros or Topper JL Tom Daniel T'Rantula copy) and "Mangouste" (De Tomaso Mangusta) would have all been packaged as Windracers, which became Pacesetters in the early 80s. |

Gran Toros were 1/43 scale made in Italy...I believe there was a copy of the T'rantula in that line, perhaps even sold as Hot Wheels, but it was never a typical 3 inch Hot Wheel. JL didn't have the T'rantula in the line as a 3 inch model until about 1997-98 under Playing Mantis...long after this model was released. The Silhouette copy is a blatant rip of the redline HW (which suggests if Muky got *some* of the Redline tools, maybe Zylmex got {some of} the rest). I have seen the Silhouette copy also as a Krazee Wheels issue, and I have found recently a model that is remarkably similar to the Hot Heap Ford T with a turtledeck but with a closed engine compartment, both as a "regular" issue and as a Krazee Wheels issue. I don't have any of these but they are now on my radar. And yes Eric, by all means, please do post these in the database, they will be most welcome additions! |

I see Wes has added a cool link to the Zylmex data base right on! Here is two more castings that I will add separately to the data base because I dont see them listed thus far. This Dune Buggy has seen better days although close enough. Its missing a spot light on the hood and has a broken exhaust pipe. Also there is Kiddo paint on the base. This Chaparral arrived today and is near mint Im stoked. Eric |

Very nice! Those early Zylls are not easy to find! The only upshot is that (usually) not a lot of guys are looking for them. |

Interesting I do not see a #4 sticker on the trunk lid listed in the link posted like the one I have ... It only says a 21 sticker ... Could be rare lol. Yep collect what I like ... The early oddballs do it for me ... Eric |

Gary is very extensive, but he doesn't have everything. Being located in Europe (England I think), that may have some to do with which models get posted due to availability. There are a lot of reasons yours may not be shown...including being rare. Intact Zylls with all their hubcaps are almost by default "rare." |

Gary is welcome to update his link/site with the #4 sticker variation as Im convinced its legit. Yeah I have searched for about 3 years for Zylmex with hub cap style wheels and they rarely surface in any condition. The two piece hub style wheels like early Redlines are next to impossible to find. The search goes on yay! Eric |

Its been awhile since I looked, but he did have a wants page that pretty well included anything he didn't have. Not sure if he's accepting image donations, I think he's looking for the cars themselves....but it couldn't hurt to offer. |

I need better glasses. I thought that red Miura was a GT40 at first. |
