1:43 - 1954 Ford F-100 Pickup - Dark Red - Models of Yesteryear After finding a decent picture of a railroad crossing, I printed it in two pieces. Because the perspective angles of the track would show major distortion with the truck, I didn't want to simply cut and paste the truck on to the background. I tried using the foreground as part of the road surface that the truck sat on, but doing so bent the rails at an awful angle, so I had to do a little magic there. The overall picture, though not perfect was a satisfactory attempt. These 1:43 Ford trucks have stellar detail and amaze me every time I handle one. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Cool retro Ford RR truck. The local companies here use Super Duty Fords today. |

Jack you are amazing and at this pace it's going to be hard to keep people interested in my pictures. Another Gold ticket and I'm gaining weight all the time. |

"I hear the train a coming..." This is a neat vintage Ford work truck and neat to see in a classic railroad livery. Wish they had done some of these in 1/64th scale. |

Great pictures, but seeing that truck just makes me wish I would have gotten some of the varieties of these type of Mbx when they were available....although, like with John, I would have loved to see some done in 1/64. |

That would be interesting in 1:64. A lot of the detail would be lost I would think. I have a full set of the MBX MOY Ford F-100s (21) + (1) Chevrolet. |

Great detail. This is something that one would not expect to come from Matchbox. It's so very intricately detailed. I wonder how much these sold for when they were new.
