Funny that it "sold" with 2 "bidders" driving the price up to $263. But then was re-listed with a start price of $399. I don't trust that seller any farther than I can drown him. |

I've never heard of Hitoys, but reading the Breithaupts article makes me wonder if there is some connection with Marx, simply because they also mis-spelled "Dino Ferrari" as "Uno Ferrari" on their baseplates around the same time.

I never even bother on those auctions. People are testing the water. They'll likely never sell it until is surpasses the price they paid for it (likely they overpaid an extravagant amount). |
