Since diecast restocking is way down, I've switched to more HO train collecting. visiting a big indoor Flea/Antique mart yesterday, I found my favorite toy dealer there, he had loads of Marklin stuff. This piece is probably hard to find, so I got it for $15. Car is plastic, but nicely detailed. I also picked up a Rambler Tinplate car made in Japan for $15, the Dinky tinplate Rambler wagons are findable, but the Japanese ones are really hard to find, this one is beat, but oh well.

Yeah, those pressed steel "tin" cars are really hard to find anymore in anything like decent shape, and sellers usually want a king's ransom or a choice piece of anatomy even for wrecks.

Nice finds.

Nice find, that Mėrklinf flat car. Not too sure but I believe the car is a Ford 17M.
i think you paid a fair price, usually those older wagons are worth quite some money lately.
