I stopped in a Five Below store tonight, to see what diecasts they had in stock after Christmas, and found a new series ( to me ) by Wham-O, made in China, website Wham-o.com. They had regular 1/64th cars and trucks, some police/rescue trucks, and earth-moving vehicles. The earth-movers are more 1/87 scale. The one truck which I latched onto eagerly is this flat-bed rollback Towtruck, it's 1/87 scale, and VERY useable for my HO train dio's. Thought you guys might like to see it, even if it is a bit beneath most of your scale interest. Body is metal, chassis and flatbed are plastic. Well done, mostly, wheels need to be scaled down, but otherwise a fairly realistic truck, and done in HO scale, I'm pleased. I will hit some more Five Below stores to score more of these. Jerry |

I've never seen these before. What cars were offered in the 3" line? The toy name sounds like something this guy would push towards kids without a 2nd thought. . .

Wham-O distributes all kinds of toys, from Frisbees to Slip N Slides. Wham-O has packaged Kaixin diecast cars in the past. As I searched for Wham-O on the Garage, I found Diecastmania's find thread of these little trucks in the Showroom, from November. More pictures there, for anyone interested in seeing more. No Five Below stores anywhere around here, so I have to keep hope that they may show up at a dollar store or something. |

Unfortunately, they didn't label the cars by model name, some seemed generic, but there were a couple SUV Police and rescue 4-door trucks ( couldn't even tell by looking whether Dodge, Ford, or Chevy), maybe a Porsche, some fat-fendered GT type sports cars, etc. The Jeep I bought was the most recognizable, and no mention of Jeep anywhere on it. The helicopter and flatbed tow truck are the two I most wanted, and many more of the tow trucks if I can find more. Jerry |

I just added the viper to my collection before Christmas it is identical to the one sold in the backpacks in TRU except now it has a sticker on the base with the date code on it. |

Found the flat bed on Kaixin site a little off topic but I also found on their site where they packed them as Hotwheels...

Yes and No Walmart Mexico carried them in their Adventure Wheels store brand with Golden Wheel listed on back as manufacturer. Toys R Us in the US has had them packed under the Fast Lane brand. They have been found in New Zealand & Belgium under the store brands that they were bought at. I just purchased some packed differently from Hong Kong But packed as Wham-o has only been found at 5 below. |

The JCB cough cough JCM loader looks nice. The police SUV reminds me of a 2013 Dodge Durango. Thanks for the extra pics.

OK, yeah. The cars are the Kaixin diecast products, so I'd deduce that the trucks are all Kaixin, as well. |
