I paid $11.98 for this 4-pack. I looked for more on both Google and eBay, and couldn't find any. I guess these are pretty rare. Mine is a bit smashed, but I plan to open the end flaps and slide in some home-made cardboard strengthening "beams" and try to find some stiff clear plastic to slide in the front to beef-up the packaging and keep it solid. It's from 1979, so it's in pretty good shape for its age!

Based on some trademark info I looked up, it looks like KIDCO went into business in 1978. KIDCO By: Unaco, Inc.

Nice score!
Thanks Swifty! It is indeed! I'm a multipack fanatic (having a childhood memory of opening so many of those Hot Wheels 5-packs) so this was pretty awesome for me!

Sweet!

I wonder if this was before Universal took over, or if Unaco is a subsidiary of Universal? I'm inclined to the latter.

Do not worry, it will be safe and sound in its' current state. If anyone else has seen one before, feel free to post a pic. I wonder if there's someone out there just sitting on the entire collection of these. lol

Me neither Mikey!

Nice set Seberhusky, I like collecting multi-packs as well, also like different kinds of sets like playsets with cars.

:toy: That set is a very nice find and addition to your collection! I remember seeing these sets on the shelves of toy stores, variety stores and others many, many years ago. I never picked them up as all of the cars in the sets were sold as singles and usually cheaper. Kidco models were fun to collect - they weren't quite up there in quality to Matchbox and Majorette and others but they were making some pretty neat cars - some that others had not made in diecast.

Those would be next on my loosely-followed list. Those Hot Wheels world playsets. I had the FED-EX one too, but man, what a set to try and re-purchase. It's like $50 these days.
