Been hitting a few more Five Below stores, but only got a couple more tow trucks each, until today, I struck out at lunch to hit one about 13 miles from work, and scored big time! Found 3 on the pegs, then another 3 up near the check-out counters in a cardboard bin. So I've got about 12 so far. Got home tonight, and started liberating the trucks. I especially wanted to see if the other trucks with similar cabs, could be transplanted. Reason? They have screws, not rivets, in the bottoms. Turns out they can be interchanged easily. I think the truck cabs are mostly the same except for one or two truck models. Might be the ambulance is slightly different. Anyway, take a look at the pictures. The neatest feature I think is that the bed actually slides back and lifts up, like the real thing! Ok, no hydraulic cylinder under the bed, but hey, pretty darn realistic for a $1 toy truck with plastic base ( cab is metal however ). The cylinder could be added for more realism. There is one more local Five Below store I can hit easily, will probably do so after Hobby shop work tomorrow. Then I guess I'll be satisfied. Jerry |

That's pretty cool. Those are definitely a pretty good deal for a buck. I was just thinking yesterday that I wish I had a rollback tow truck to display a car on for a picture and our first Five Below in town just opened up, so thanks for posting! |

They look like nice models to use with HO gauge items. |

That's my intent, to use them with my HO gauge trains. The price was reduced, they were listed at $5 at one time , but for $1, they're definitely worth the price! I bought another couple ambulances today, and some more tow trucks, and swapped the cabs at work during lunch break. So at this point, there are 4 different cab colors ( blue, white ambulance, light orange and dark orange ) to swap to the tow trucks. The guy at the store this morning said they were selling down this weekend, and then were going to do inventory and really pile them out front after that, so there are more coming apparently. So there won't be a shortage of flatbeds, and with the $1 pricing, I'll buy more of them, plus more of the other trucks to swap cabs with. Jerry |

I'm still upset we don't have any 5-Below stores around here. Someday, I want to get these trucks. |

If you talk to me REAL nicely, when they drop more out this coming week, I'll grab some more. Had intended to do that anyway. I can mail them to you. How many do you want? Jerry |
