I found this new casting, by surprise, at a local grocery store (not a national chain, but a Bashas' subsidiary - an Arizona market). I didn't know this version existed, so I am calling it a new casting, and nominating it for the 2014 voting, unless someone can vouch for knowing of this castings existence prior to Dec 2013. This is a completely different casting from the interiorless basic line Maisto.

I know the casting came out in the cheaper offerings but I am not sure of the release date.

Here is a link to a post of the same casting in the cheaper Maisto line from August of last year.

Nice casting surely worthy of nomination.I like how the police logo on the windshield can only be read from a rear view mirror.

Looks like the police car is Need For Speed inspired, judging by the text font. Makes sense since Maisto has the NFS license.

I didn't know this. I knew Mega Brands did, and it appears Hot Wheels does, but I wasn't aware Maisto did.

At one time, Maisto has had the Need For Speed license. They made a line of cars from NFS: Undercover when the game came out.

And they still have it. They're making a Mustang from the Need For Speed movie coming out in March.

Quality of the red one is iffy but the police one certainly redeems it!
