I was talking with the doctor the other day. Oh, you know, Dr. Rotten. We were talking about the event cars that have been done since the first CARnival in 2008. This lead me to do some investigating since I have been to every CARnival except 2011 (but I did manage to get cars from that event). I created a list of the KDC cars that I have but I'm sure more can be added to this list because I know there were some variations. Here it is:

2008
JL silver '05 Mustang GT
JL yellow '05 Mustang GT
Yatming BWF '57 Chevy
HW Fast & Furious cars (2) - Die Cast Shuffleboard

2009
GL '07 Shelby Mustang GT
HW '69 Charger - dinner car

2010
GL black '09 Challenger
GL silver '09 Challenger

2011
MB '90 LTD Taxi
GL '70 Hemi Cudas - Resto Rides 2 pack

2012
GL '68 Impala
GL '71 GTO

2013
JL '92 Typhoon
GL '69 Road Runner

I need to get last year's cars.

In addition to the silver and yellow Mustang GTs in 2008, the was a blue "Swifty's Stang" version in limited quantities.

The Mustang II is a Mustang too!
There were a number of variations of the very first year's Mustang. There were six Swifferstangs which was the second lowest quantity. At two, the absolute lowest went to the black one. I know Nick got one and I can't remember who got the other. But since our logo had flames and it was a black JL casting it was a hot commodity. For some reason I remember there being five different variations available: yellow, silver, blue, black, and I want to say we may have had some of the red/orange with a black hood. Can anyone confirm that?

Also, the F&F shuffleboard cars were Racing Champions, not Hot Wheels. Which means we've used cars from six different manufacturers over the years, with official support coming from Yat Ming, Johnny Lightning, and GreenLight over the years.

Hot stuff
The 2008 Challengers from the 2010 event came in 4 different colors, of various quantities. The black as the dinner car was the shortest run.

Geez...I don't recall any variations. Just the dinner car version.

Finally took pics of my KDC cars. Many are still in the baggie so the shots aren't the clearest. Starting with KDC 2008:

Does this one count? There were also a bunch of Color Comp cars that they brought the year we had them come to the show and stamp cars on the spot.

Still alive and kickin', huh Nick? I don't think that BWF Camaro can be considered a bonafide event car. As you know, that was a gift from the Johnny Jam Crew to the KDC Crew. I don't remember how many we had Russ (Milezones) tampo for us....

I had Color Comp tampo a GL '67 GTO vert for me ----- right before my eyes! Not sure if it would be considered an "official" event car. They were paid demonstrations from ColorComp, rather than event cars distributed by the KDC organizers. :02:

I still look at the Camaro as an event car...just a very limited one. It is stamped with the name "Keystone Carnival" on both car and package. The on thing that might take it out of the running for some some, or possibly make it more of an obscurity, is that it doesn't have an exact year on either car or package, or how many were made. Russ numbered the cars, however, because mine says "No. 8" on the back of the card.

The JJ '07 Country Squire "Rock-N-Roll Wagon" that the PA crew had made up for that event the previous summer I also feel is sort of a limited edition event car. It also has the event name (plus year) stamped on the car and card. Mine says "9 of 47," plus has my screen name printed on the back of the card...so these were personalized. Which I almost forgot about until I plucked the car from my wall and just looked at it. These were also printed up by Russ.

Let's race!
Redline guy Brian Rapine got the other black Mustang at the 2008 show. I bought it from him at the York Toy show and sent it to Rich McDermott for Christmas. :-D
