Cost me $6 at an antique store that I'm a regular at (they gave me half price since I am literally their best customer, the lights had been repaired and hubcaps somewhat crudely blackwashed, and one bumperette loose), was a childhood/teen years grail, but wasn't common and what few were sold in Eugene apparently went to greybeard Vette fans. Quite possibly from a kit, but *very* well-built... I'm hoping to eventually put a hardtop and soft top from a plastic '57 Vette kit or the Monogram Pro Modeler Series '58 Vette that this is based on for the sake of displaying... and possibly modifying an AMT '55 Vette Glasspar hardtop to match the 1956-62 side window shape. While not Franklin Mint quality, and being a built kit, this one is still nice to have in-hand after a 10-year hunt.
