Need Help; identifying diecast cars

got these two at the Flea Market, i don't know what they are, i just like them so i bought them. any info about them? where are they from and how much is their value?(i wanna know if i paid too much or if i got a good deal) thanks in advance!

They have rubber tires, hood and trunk opens, not sure if i heard the guy right but i think he said he bought them in a shop in route 66.

Edit: BTW they are 1:64 scale

They are from Lionel Racing and part of their Racing Collectibles Club of America series. RCCA used to be part of Action and issued many very nice and well detailed NASCAR models.

Both for $12? That's a great deal!
I mean, you shouldn't be worrying about overpayment, as that's not a lot of money at all. If you paid about $20 or more, than maybe that would be reason to ask. Even if you tried buying them on eBay, the shipping alone would be $6 or higher, not including the bidding price.

Not that I collect NASCAR, but if I seen these shiny mint models in those fancy boxes on some vendor's flea market table, I wouldn't second-guess paying that.

yes sir, $12 for both, haha, i just feel guilty whenever i spend more than $10 on cars..Lol, that's why i wanna have the best deals on them.
