I found a blog last year on a Japanese site that showed these packs of cheap diecast cars with a viper in the pack. I have contacted any sources I had with contacts in Japan and am having no luck. I messaged the blogger in english and then later in Japanese although using google translate with no reply. They were found in a 100 Yen store called Seria in Japan. My questions are has anyone seen these anywhere? Does anyone have good contacts in Japan? Any other Ideas to help me track these down? Any help is appreciated!! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Please email me at dmax9888 at aol dot com or reply here. Thanks, David |

The wheels look like they are the same as the unknown "pancake cars" - and they likely are from the same factory and/or manufacturer. I am no help in obtaining them, however. |

Aren't those the same Vipers as Summer? (Bottom car in my pic.)![]() Unrelated to the above picture, I managed to score "pancake cars" that actually have a name on the bottom, Soma. They have the same wheel type as what I think is used in these photos. I do not know if the molds for this wheel is owned by many companies, or just one. Edited by SeberHusky, Feb 3 2014, 04:49 PM.

The purple Viper in the 3-pack is a Suntoys, not a Summer, although the 5-point star wheels look similar to the wheels Summer has used for a long time. The 'pancake car' wheeled version in the Japanese packs appears to be far more crude than even the Suntoys version. |
