With the help of Jack (Hosspower), I have been able to add a few new Grell High Speed castings to the collection. These may look familiar....![]() ![]() ![]() If they don't look familiar, think "Readers Digest" or "Greenlight" ![]() Jack also included these...not sure if High Speed. If so, they are new to me. ![]() ![]() Thank you for the help, Jack! |

Nice stuff! I'm digging the High Speed variations. The last two Mustangs are basic range Maistos - same colors and wheels as the regular releases. So that must be where the Grell beer promos "turned to" after High Speed ceased to exist...??? But they still have that High Speed truck cab. Very interesting. |

This particular seller in Germany has oodles of the trucks, he even sells "blanks" (reasonably!) for use on HO railroads, so my guess is he is continuing to use his stock of trucks and has likely run short of the other models. So the High Speed castings are slowly fading out of sight... That's why I am thinking now is the time to act to get any of the Eastern Euro cars that Grell made before they disappear for good. Also, not sure if you noticed...the HO truck cabs are the same ones issued in Wallys as Malibu at one time. So far I see a Ford, Freightliner, Peterbilt and Volvo...and some others better known in Europe. BTW, I noticed the Yatming seller has returned, with a couple "new" models and a repaint of the Mack pickup this time around. *footnote: The Caddy was found listed as a Chevrolet, should anyone go looking. |

Um, check the packaging of the last two trucks. Those have definitely been opened before. |
