i had picked up a rl 57 as an upgrade.when i got it i noticed that it is darker than the one i had.i called a 57 guy
and was told that both the rl and first issue of the bw had the red and dark red variations.but i have not seen the
rl varis listed.the bw where issued in two different years.that may account for the vari...

If they were mine (and vans) then they would have a home together in my cases.
I love variations like this.

Support your local demo derby.

There's a slight shade variance but I'm not sure it's a true variation in my book. I'd never notice the difference if they weren't next to one another.

Both Chevy's both great castings of a classic automobile, you should keep them both, or send them both to me for safekeeping.

One of my favorite castings.I can also see the slight difference in the paint color although would not consider it a variation. My "guess" is that Mattel wanted the same exact red color however paint batches can vary from one to the next so its more of a quality control issue.Sweet cars at any rate.

My 2 cents

This would be my opinion on the color difference as well.

I agree. I've seen alot of castings with slight varients in the paint but myself I wouldn't call it a variation.
