Hey I thought it would be entertaining to post birds etc here. Just to see all birds from other locations as yours would be entertaining to me. So what ya say?

This first bird is a Red Belly Woodpecker, a female. It's not important if you can't name the bird. It's your choice just participation would be great.

A course here's that beautiful bird from yesterday the Painted Bunting. This is a male.

That is a luna moth. Beautiful insects, but not the largest moth. That honor goes to the Atlas moth.

That is cool about the nest because my step daughter has a nest in a hanging plant on her front porch. That nest has been there every year for about four years now.

That moth is amazing, I have never seen one that size. Are you sure it's not a mothman? Joking a course now where do you live to get a moth that size? The snakes are cool but don't want to be handling them for laughing out loud.

I just saw where your from Ohio. I hear some people have southern accents there.

I don't have pictures, but I have seen two Golden Eagles, one here in Texas and one in Colorado, and one Bald Eagle here in Texas. As far as other wildlife, I used to live in the country and still work in the country, so we have Copperheads, Rattlesnakes, Coyotes, Bobcats and even Mountain Lions. Used to drive by some sort of exotic animal ranch every day and they had Zebra, Giraffes, and all manner of Antelopes and Gazelles, even saw an Ocelot there once. Now I live in the city, so this rat that lives a few blocks away is the best I can come up with:

That and this Rabbit that lives in my garage:

Here are few cool animals from various trips though:

The snake looks so innocent that last image. It's like he's saying "I didn't attack the camera. You have no proof!" Ben, I love the lion cub! So cute.

Those are entertaining to say the least and comical how you adding the diecast for that extra touch. There's a conservator's center in Burlington, North Carolina where you can get even closer to the animals and enjoy a walking tour with a guide. Lions and even wolfs. Check it out if it's feasible for you. Felines are great and one of my favorites.

I think I have seen that Rat in a movie once. He was cook but not just a cook but a Chef. It was a great movie. I think your girlfriend feeding the tiger is cool and that must of been a heart warming experience. Thanks for your pictures and please continue to share your experiences with us. When I was stationed in Germany when Jesus was just a Cpl. those VW Rabbit were quite the quick car. Think there was one called the Wolf too. Is that a nurse shark in that ocean tank? Those were quite the site.

No, fortunately, garter snakes are harmless. I had one as a pet when I was younger.

The shark in the picture is a whale shark, and it was practically the size of a school bus. Those little fish in the picture were probably 3 feet in diameter.

Insects give me the creepy crawlies. We have wolf spiders here, they look like small tarantulas. They don't spin webs and chase down their prey. Some are so scary I actually hear them growl. LOL :o
