For just a penny! Recently won this Classic Ford Woody in an online auction at TCE with an opening bid of just one cent ... Nobody else bid so the best deal on a nice Redline ever seen how could I pass it up! Its light blue, not so easy to find.It does have the usual toning specks commonly found with this color although still in great shape. Anyways just thought it would be fun to share this find with fellow diecast nuts as they do not happen everyday. Cheers Eric |

Way cool! Even more at the price!![]() I think I still have this one, and I know I have another (different color) that I started removing a lot of junior picasso work from and never quite finished. I'm also thinking the Woodie might be one of the castings that didn't make it to HK, I think it was one of the US only castings. I had a love/hate thing with the Woodie when I was a kid. We had enough of them, 3 or 4 over a few years anyway. Fun to play with, and did OK on the gravity tracks...but they were awful in the powerhouses. The open fenders would catch and the car would come spitting out the other side in who knows what direction except down the track. |

Yeah...the Vickys were just as bad and for the same reason. Never had a Hot Heap at the time, but I imagine they would have had the same problem. The Can Am style racers all did extremely well in the powerchargers...shot many a Ford MkIV and Lola and J Car through without a hitch. |
