Just to be ecumenical, 1980-81 Chrysler Imperial

Posted Image

The story at the time was that Chrysler had the trunkback design before Caddy, but the Seville beat them to the market by a year. Very obscure design now, I haven't seen one on the road in many years.

Weirdest license plate placement I've ever seen.

Maybe a series of amaerican concept cars? In America there were a lot of and a lot of them were amazing

Good idea. Would love to see the Chrysler Norseman lost on the wreck of the Andrea Doria in 1956.

The 1980-83 Imperial is still seen occasionally here, there are 2 ratty ones and a nice one here, if I don't end up buying a Magnum or a Cordoba I will likely seek out an Imperial.

(btw, if I get a 1978-79 Dodge Magnum, Auto World is welcome to take measurements of it if they are ever in Eugene, since a lot of people want one made)

1954 Willys Jeep Panel. I would be happy with any Jeep Panel out of the 50s, so this is merely an example. LOTS of cool things can be done with this one!

Been putting it off, trying to pace myself, but the subject has come up twice in the last few days...

Posted Image

Buick Reatta...not done in scale to my knowledge and would make an excellent addition at any level, but perhaps better suited at the lower (high volume, low detail) end. (Personally, I'd love to see it at least in the mid range)

And for a little balance...Datsun 510. There is method to my madness nominating this one.

Posted Image

Stock

Posted Image

With body kits for a street racer

Posted Image

With racing interior and graphics for SCCA and Rallye type racers

Multi use casting...and with a plastic base at the low end should be relatively easy mods without destroying the molds, so any and all of these can be made again as the situation warrants.

(similar can be done with a BMW 2002)

Another I've been holding back,

Posted Image

Jeep Gladiator

Posted Image

Done only once before in small scale diecast by Matchbox in the 60s, it is a worthy candidate for an update as that model was quite small.

Posted Image

Posted Image

Frequently used by the Military and Fire Departments...

Posted Image

Sometimes as snowplows and wreckers

Posted Image

and as Hunting trucks

Posted Image

they look good with campers

Posted Image

there is the tie in to the popular old TV show Daktari (my personal motivation for nominating this one)

Posted Image
Posted Image

and a wide variety of old Tonka pressed steel models based on the Jeep Gladiator

So there are *plenty* of possibilities with this one

I think a Mercury Marauder would be right up your alley.

I like this idea and would love to see a Ford Escort Mk I, BMW 2002 and Nissan 510 done in this way. Especially the Escort given the lack of attention it's gotten.

Wow, now that would for sure bring on the attention. Great pick, I second this motion.

I am still wishing for those early 70's 4 door police cars:

'71 Galaxie
'71 Fury I
'70 Coronet

I'd also like to see the '03-'04 Cobra, '05-'06 GTO, '93-'97 Trans Am, '93-'97 Z28 and SS, and some '60's and 70's trucks not yet done.

And 70s LTDs! There were lots of departments that used LTDs!

I would love to see this made. A Jeep Forward Control. Think Jeep version of a Unimog. :D

How about a 1959 Chevy Biscayne? Sure, companies have made the Impala and Bel Air, but no love for the Biscayne.

I know I would love to see a 1969 Chrysler wagon like this one.

FWIW, I'll second that Jeep FC! As a chassis, there are lots of things can be put on the back like a pickup/utility bed or a wrecker.

I guess I will put my 2 cents in.

I really like the Jeep Gladiator and the Pontiac G8 and I would love to see those done too. Here are some others I like to suggest.

1953 Studebaker Starliner stock or retro moded (I believe this one has been mentioned before but I would like to second it...LOL)
Posted Image
Posted Image

1975 or 1976 Chevrolet Monte Carlo
Posted Image
Posted Image

1973 thru 1978 Chevrolet Truck (short and/or long bed)
Posted Image
Posted Image

1967 Cadillac Coupe De Ville
Posted Image
Posted Image

1976 Pontiac Trans Am
Posted Image

I will keep it at that for right now. I am sure I can have a lot longer list but I like to keep it simple on the hopes at least one of them will be used....LOL

Hey Paul!

Excellent adds! I'm pretty sure this is a 1953 Studie though, not a '63.

OK, out on a limb here because these have been done before but not to my satisfaction...but I also doubt anyone will make them again, which would be a shame...
