With all the recent craze for Jeeps, trucks, and off-road vehicles, I really hope they can add some interesting contributions to this genre in the not too distant future. And would very much like to see what they come up with. I'm more of a car guy as a rule, but really have come to appreciate older trucks. And i wouldn't mind if they did their version of the Wagoneer at some point. I wanted a white on with wood grain for a long time. Thought I would get one from JL when they finally produced their casting, but that was like a sampler that was rolled under expectant collector's noses as a way of saying, "Na-na na-na-na!"

Nice selection! I would probably buy ALL of them, but would particularly like to see the Chevy Wagon, Catalina and International.

Personally, any kind of SUV/Truck made during the eras Auto World currently covers, especially the Chevrolet C and K series, Dodge Power Wagon (especially the '72 model all the way up to the Power Ram) , and Chevy Blazer. I would be all for foreign models, even if I don't know what they are, as they would help Auto World's presence abroad.

Could Auto World possibly make emergency vehicles?

I'm going to second a few of the suggestions and offer some new ones.

1976 Chevrolet Cosworth Vega
1991 Honda CRX EF8 (the second gen one, not the earlier one), either stock or with the Mugen body kit
1989 Honda Civic EF hatchback - Hot Wheels did it
1994 Honda Civic EG hatchback
1977 Pontiac Can-Am
1966 Chevrolet Corvair Monza
1989 Toyota Supra, either in stock, tuner or Safari Rally trim
1970 Mazda RX3
1974 Mazda Cosmo RX5
1967 Alfa Romeo GTV
1974 Alfa Romeo GTA
1989 Pontiac Turbo Trans-Am
1970 Ford Capri Mk. I
1972 Ford Escort Mk. I
1978 Ford Escort Mk. II
1977 AMC Hornet AMX
1981 AMC Spirit Turbo AMX PPG Pace Car

That's it for now. :)
Seeing this list, I think I could pare it down a bit further, or at least mention the ones that would be of deepest interest.

1978 Ford Escort Mk 2

Posted Image
Posted Image
1976 Cosworth-Chevrolet Vega (bonus points if it's got an airdam like the 2nd shot)

1977 AMC Hornet AMX

Of course, if some of the others were to be made, well, you wouldn't hear any complaints from me, well other than complaining about having no money because I've given it all to AW. :D

That 70 hard top is just as nice as my 69 hardtop.

I'd like to see that car done too, never seen it in 1:64 scale...

Support your local demo derby.

Let's take a look at an entire brand that's rarely represented in 1/64, International Harvester. IH started building trucks in the early teens of the 20th century. The models that I think would do well include the IH Metro, Pickups of various model years, Scout, Travelall, Travelette and Wagonmaster. Outside of the Scout and JL's '65 1200 pickup none exist in 1/64.

Their pickups were built in similar fashion to their tractors of the day. While they were a bit sparse they offered dependable V-8 power and multiple suspension ratings. Their light pickup truck line would be produced until 1975. From '76-'80, Scout based pickups were offered.

IH offered a wagon version of their pickup trucks starting in the late 1930s. It would soon be called the Travelall and be targeted towards those with large families and who wanted to tow camper trailers. The Travelall was the first full size SUV in America to offer four wheel drive beating out the Suburban by several years in 1956. It was also the first four door full size SUV as well.

'68 Travelall 4x4 . . . About as wicked looking as a stock SUV could get.

Redesigned for the '69 model year, they adopted the D-Series sheet metal found on their pickup counterparts. Show in this pic is a '71 Travelall.

Many think the '01+ Chevy Avalanche was the first pickup with four full size doors. It wasn't! :P International issued the Travelette in 1957 and was initially offered with 3 doors and gained a 4th for '61. The Travelette would be offered until the '75 model year.

For '73, '74 and '75, IH produced the Wagonmaster. It was the Travelall minus the rear portion of the wagon roof which created a 5 foot pickup bed. These were typically outfitted with 5th wheel hookups.

I hope youg guys don't mind me joining the discussion even though this is just my first post, haha... Anyways, some old Muscle car favorites I'd love to see in AW's lineup:

1970 Nova (SS350, SS396 or Yenko Deuce would be sweet options)
1964 Thunderbolt
1967 Fairlane (GT, with the 427 to pair up with the TBolt)
1971 Pontiac LeMans
1970 Impala Sedan (gotta love some land yachts)
1974 Camaro
1970 Chevelle
1969 Roadrunner
1974 Duster

Those are some of my oldest favorites, ever since I was a kid growing up with chase movies, and I think there aren't any brands currently making decent models of these in premium quality, specially the Nova, which hasn't had a truly good representation since the ERTL American Muscle line. Johnny Lightning had one, but other than that, it often gets overlooked in favor of earlier generation Novas or more mainstream muscle cars like the Chevelle or the Camaro. Oh yeah, if I were to choose, I'd actually like to see these on the Deluxe line, which is more accessible to me than the premium lines.

How about some German cars, Like BMWs, Audis, Porsches a course, and maybe some German Fords.

I'll second this.

Especially if it leads to nicely details models of the Capri and Escort.

Did I mention I really want an Escort Mk I or II? (of course, every time I suggest a future casting).

If they go that way, I'd really like to see a Golf GTI MkV, a 993 Turbo and a Jaguar XJ220 at least. Always been a huge fan of those models and they're still sorely missing from my collection.

Some japanese iron would be great too, like an EK9 Civic Type R, a 1990 Skyline GT-R, an S13 Silvia or a 1995 Integra Type R.

I'll second all of these but especially the Honda ITR and CTR.
There's so many possible S13s to do... we could have a 180SX, a Silvia, a 240SX or a Sil-80. Or all of the above.

That's the same truck...in haze grey...that I have a story about. International sold a lot of vehicles to the military, and I'm familiar with one in particular from the 32nd st Naval Base San Diego circa 1982ish.

Pretty sure I've told the story before here...the punchline is going backwards in the median at highway speed on two wheels. :D *I* wasn't driving that day!

Yes, please! A Sil80 from AW would be a first from a non japanese manufacturer.

Here's one that I think would go hand in hand with the base (Deluxe) segment, the 1973 Nova SS and Hatchback:

Granted, it's not the most popular Nova out there, but it's also never been done in this (or any other) scale. I think I actually like some of the lines on this car better than the earlier, more popular models too. B)

Also, I've always had a soft spot for the 72 Monaro HQ, another one that's never been done in miniature.

Posted Image

Looks kinda like a nimble, lightweight Chevelle!

How about a 1972 Olds Cutlass hardtop?

Posted Image

There's no shortage of fastback 442s out there, but I've yet to see a hardtop Cutlass of this vintage. Would be killer to see this in the Deluxe line to go with the 66 GTO and 67 Skylark.
