Love to see these castings done by AW. Some companies have done some of these, but want to see them in proper proportion and scale:

1967 Ford Galaxie 500
1974 Mustang II (a casting in proportion)
1974 Torino
1963 Ford Fairlane
1968 Ford F-250 Pickup

1971 Dodge Demon 340 (a casting in proportion)
1971 Plymouth Duster 340 (a casting in proportion)
1975 Plymouth Scamp

1969 Chevy Camaro Z/28 ( a casting in proportion)
1971 Nova (a casting in proportion)

1969-1971 AMC Rebel

Amen, brother. B)

I'm currently following the discipline that states that, if a casting has been done by multiple companies, I'll wait for AW to release their version :D

I figure not a lot of people would be excited over this...

But wouldn't it be cool? In a craptastic sort of way, having a malaise era LeBaron or 5th Avenue on the lineup?

Coupe De Fleur, or Flower Car. There are so many worthy candidates and it is a field ripe for picking!

Count me in as one of the people that would be very excited to see that 1980's Chrysler 5th Avenue.

Every now and then someone comes out with a brand new AMC AMX. Wouldn't it be awesome to have a Javelin we could be proud of?

Yes, the Javelin is highly under-served in the diecast market. Playart, Johnny Lightning, Polistil, Pilen, and Boss ( the last three all 1/43 and higher-end ) are the only ones I know of. I'd like to see a 1970 Javelin done.

Greenlight makes a mess of them.

Only the second gen though... I got one, it's pretty cool, but the first gen was much cooler, IMO B)

Ford's and Chrysler's early 70's compacts often get overlooked as well. We already got the Dodge Dart, and I'm really pulling for a third gen Nova in the next lineup, but, aside from the Javelin, these would also be cool to see done properly:

The Ford was offered by Johnny Lightning in two colorways, I believe, by Hot Wheels in their basic range, and that's it. The Duster was offeredt by JL, and Hot Wheels has a tuned up version with wacky proportions, blown engine and side pipes. This is all personal preference, obviously, but it would be cool to see a 1969 Nova, a 1970 Javelin, a 1971 Maverick and a 1972 Duster as a "Compact Muscle" release of sorts, maybe as an opposite segment for the Land Yachts from releases 1 and 2.

Redline era HW had an early Jav, MBX did the next gen Jav.

Don't have to convince me! Yes, they'd make a great addition to the Land Yachts.

I'd love a 66-67 Dodge Coronet hardtop, I know greenlight makes them but they don't seem to release them that often, nor would it matter since there's no were to buy greenlights around here.

Actually, the Lincoln Premier has been made, twice. JL and MBX both. Can't swear either is a '56, but they both did Premiers from the second half of the 50s. Not saying AW shouldn't do one, I'm sure they would do justice to that Lincoln as well.

What we need and hasn't been done is a '56 Continental!

Support your local demo derby.

Here's models I think would have a good following.

'56 Continental Mark II - While not a Lincoln it's DNA screams luxury from Ford.
Posted Image

'61 Lincoln Continental - This was originally going to be the new Thunderbird till that idea was scratched and the design was tapped to Lincoln flagship model to replace the '58-'60 style Continental. JL offered a nice but not true scale model years ago. Lesney era MB issued the '64 model plus HWs has a copy as well though none are truly accurate.
Posted Image

'67 Lincoln Contiental - Riding on a 3" longer wheebase compared to the '61 and offering more rear legroom the '67s gained a new body as well compared to the '64-'66 models. No one yet has done any in 1/64. AW you can be first!
Posted Image

'77 Lincoln Mark V - Among the last of the true big boats. This was built off a platform similar to the '77-'79 T-Birds. Matchbox produced one but has wanky proportions.
Posted Image

'83 Lincoln Town Car - Riding on the new for '80 Panther platform the early 80s Town Cars were significantly smaller and lighter than their previous '70-'79 models. Other than a micro sized MB Lincoln Limo this body style has never been issued in 1/64.
Posted Image

'91 Lincoln Town Car - Sporting a new body while retaining the same basic body on frame build quality as the square 80s Lincolns, the '90-'97 Town Cars were the choice car for executives and high rollers of the 1990s and favorites for taxi plus limo companies. Other than a bloated attempt from JADA we have never seen a '90-'97 Town Car in true 1/64.
