The Dodge B-Series was a full-size van marketed under the Dodge brand by the Chrysler Corporation (1971–1998) and later DaimlerChrysler (1998–2003). Starting in 1981, the B-Series was sold as the Dodge Ram Van; the passenger variant was known as the Dodge Ram Wagon and Plymouth Voyager.

All Ram Vans and Wagons were built at the Pillette Road Truck Assembly plant in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, which has since been demolished.

For the first eight model years, the different configurations of B vans were given names. Sportsman passenger vans had side windows and passenger seating not present in the otherwise identical Tradesman models. These vans were also marketed as Plymouth Voyagers prior to the 1984 application of the Voyager name to Plymouth's new minivan, as well under the "Fargo" name in Canada in 1971–72. The same range of gasoline-powered slant-6 and V8 engines was offered in these vans as was offered in the Dodge D Series pickup truck.

Built on the B platform (later AB), the full-size vans entered production for the 1971 model year. Due to a one-welded-piece "Uniframe" design, the Dodge platform was lighter, stronger and featured a lower cargo floor than the competition, the resulting lower center of gravity improved handling versus the competing products. The B-series van was popular for cab-over motorhome conversion until Chrysler Corporation's egress from that market during their bankruptcy proceedings in the 1970s.

All generations of the B-series van feature similar construction, with only small variation from era to era. The most pronounced changes were to the front fenders, hood, grille, and bumpers, which tended to follow their full-size truck counterparts in each era, much of this was a result of the need to meet Federal "crashworthiness" standards.

It was also popular in class-C RV and ambulance conversions.

Here's a blast from the past...yes, even Mattel could be known for using existing castings to ride the coattails of a popular TV show. This is probably the first "A team" van, although that's not a given as I know Ertl made one right around the same time, both were made while that show was current. The HW version has the distinction of not being issued in the mainline. This is a set car, as I recall found in the Dynamite Crossing playset, and no direct association with the TV show was ever made in the marketing. Knowing Mattel, it was probably found later in a baggie in their company store.

I know some folks associate this with being a Chevy, and to each their own opinion. Even when these were new, they looked much more like a Dodge to me than anything else, although it is probably just generic enough to skirt licensing. At the time Matty seemed to favor MoPars for their workhorses, examples being the Rescue Squad, the Plymouth Fire Chief and Police, and sponsoring the Snake and Mongoose Funny Cars which were both Plymouths.

Nice.
Yep on the Dynamite Crossing set. Got one here some place
And yep on found in baggies. Actually most of them were found in loose baggies.
And the grill can be Dodge, its the same base/grill found on the Rescue Ranger, which I believe is Dodge. But, the body is all GMC.
