I got these on May 16, 2014 for $42.00. It was a good deal because there's not many of them left unopened or otherwise. Some of these are unpunched too! They weren't common or desirable, so nobody collected them, and they weren't durable, so they didn't last during play.

These are from when the company first started back in the 1970's, and this is about the earliest Summer cars around. The only missing one is the Rolls Royce Silver Spirit pictured on the box art. That one is likely the rarest, since it was probably Rolls-Royce's doing that got it yanked off the shelves for copyright infringement.

The cars just vaguely represent what they're supposed to be, but that is the charm of Summer, is it not? :)

Most newer Summers are crap, but I must admit these look really nice. The packaging isn't seen that often, either.

The main issue I had with Summers was the leaf spring suspension that was built into the base, the wheels often came loose from the leaf spring.

The Rolls were around for a bit more, into the mid80s at least, from all makers. HW even rehashed their 80s era Rolls Speedster for a couple of limited sets in the mid90s, so I'm not sure when the licensing ban took place but it was well after these were made.

Good to see on Summer Cards, I have at least one of these on MarzKarz Cards, the back is the same, the front a bit different.

Never seen early Summer models still on the card. Unique scores!

Nice items Seber

My examples of these early Summer sedans have a different version of the packaging artwork:
