I am sure I can find my answer in Kimmo, Dave & Marks DMV but it is burried in my closet.

My friend recently found this one at a train show and I am trying to search one out for my collection but the name of the manufacturer is slipping my mind. Does anyone remember who this casting is manufactured by? Any help is appreciated.

Hello there ViperMan, this rather chunky looking model is made by Global Way International.

Thanks for the Reply. I'll research the Global Way connection. It was also under one more brand name but can't think of that one either. Originally it was packed as Mega Speed before it went chunky. Check this thread out with a few of the variations.

Never heard of Global Way, but I like what I am seeing. My dream small-scale Viper is the remarkably nice Kai Jal plastic second-gen coupe.

Do you have a pic of the Kai Jal?

So was this something that would have been given away at church, or Vacation Bible School, or some othe church-related event?

If so, you might try checking Christian bookstores and places of the like.

I found out that a Christian company called Kerusso had these made. I contacted them and they said they had no remaining cars in stock. I have found two other stores on line that have them listed in their stores and they are showing that they are out of stock. So on Kerusso's web site they have a listing of dealers I am going to call the stores in CT that carry their product. If anyone happens to go into a Christian store please take a gander for me. Thanks!

I believe that's a 986 Boxster. Something I'd be interested in getting my hands on!

That is certainly an interesting series! I wonder who the original maker is though, are these Mega Speed castings?
