Nice! I remember when those were more plentiful in stores, as I got a few of them. Thanks for the pic! |

These were a great series of fire engines that Corgi did - I have managed to get most of them over the years. I was sorry when the discontinued the series as they had such nice fire engines and ambulances. |

They bought out Lledo/Days Gone, didn't they? And then added some of the Days Gone fire rigs into the Fire Heroes line. But the best thing was that they created a bunch of new fire engines and even some obscure castings, like the California Dept of Forestry and Fire Management--aka CDF and CalFIRE--Bell 205 helicopter and the Dodge WC50 lettered for Texas Forest Service/Texas Volunteer Fire Service. I have managed to find an example of each vehicle in the series, but not all the variations of those vehicles. It was an enjoyable one or two year endeavor. Here's one of the obscure fire rigs: ![]() And the CDF helo: ![]() and the Texas Forest Service WC50 ![]() |

I collected some of them as well, think I got them when a local KB Toy Liquidators had some to offer....they use to get some great stuff there, and usually a really good price. |

I think there was 34 in the main line and 5 4 pack sets although looking at the numbers there must have been 9 multipack sets so maybe more than 34 main models? I had 25 main and only 3 of the 5 sets. Here are some pics of the Lledo models used. ![]() ![]() And the 4 pack sets. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Ford Ambulance which was a new casting. When the series was discontinued an ambulance for Seattle Medic 1 was on the list of upcoming models - I was always disappointed that one didn't get released.![]() ![]() ![]()
