I recently added this to my emergency vehicle collectible thanks to Wes and viperman. It is from a limited 3 piece Feuerwehr set that included a Dodge Viper Fire Chief Car and a fire department helicopter. This ambulance comes with opening doors, opening tailgate and best of all - the stretcher is removable. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() stretcher slides out of the rear of the ambulance - talk about great play value! ![]() ![]() group shot of some of my other Siku Mercedes ambulance models |

That's Cool with all the operating features, and even a stretcher........I don't have any of those ambulances you show in the last pic, they are all great looking. |

This model really does have some great play value. Don't think I ever saw the two older models you have there, John. I do have two different variations on your latest though. I'll snap a couple of pics in the coming week and add to this thread. I believe this model is scaled at 1/55, but it doesn't look terrible next to 1/64 given the actual size and length of the actual ambulance...it sort of fits more realistically that most actual 1/64 ambulances. |

Nice addition. Now you'll just have to add the 80's W200 Mercedes to the line and you'll have all the Siku representations in the 1000-Series to date of these ambulances that Binz made based on Mercedes cars. There is an earlier version based on the finned "heckflosse" type Mercedes in the V-Series and an even older one in the plastic V-Series. |
