Got it in the mail as his end of a trade from a diecast friend on FB, trading him a carded but bent card/nice casting & storage box, AW turquoise Dodge Phoenix for it.

Love it very much...

Thanks, folks! Was boxed as a Popular, but paint and trim colors and dash instrument binnacle said Anglia to me.

Information on the Ford Popular here: Ford Popular 100E

The Ford Popular was a carbon-copy of the Anglia. It was basically a "budget Anglia" (£100 cheaper than an Anglia 100E). "Budget" meaning, a lot less features, moreso similar to a Trabant in terms of accommodations. Just a seat, a compartment, and a radio. lol

But based on the wheels used on the model, I think it's an Anglia. They likely just recycled the same box, if Vanguard made a Popular as well.

Yep, Anglia for sure
I noticed the model has that little badge on the sides, like visible in the 1/1 pic of the Anglia.

The Vanguard range of models are very nice and very well done - tending to be 1/43rd scale I have passed on them as tempting as they are. :D
