Here's a treat of an off topic subject. My second hobby is playing music. This is a song I wrote, but can't sing the words, for us all to play with our cars by... It's called "Tough Love"
My nick-name used to be "Monkey" growing up...
That's why my daughter-in-law called it "Monkey Shines"...

Not really my taste, but you sure know your way around a fretboard.
This reminds me, I should give my guitars some attention. They've grown very jealous of my little cars.

How disappointing that is about as Rock as you can get. Young folks didn't get to enjoy the rock n roll sound as us older folks.

It's not as though I don't listen to rock, it's just rock has become so diverse in the past 50 years that two people can both really be into rock and have virtually no overlap in what they listen to.

I appreciate it, no doubt, but most of what I listen to is one or another form of heavy punk/metal crossover stuff. I think this is going to be for life too, I'm nearly 30 and instead of getting tired of fast, abrasive, dissonant stuff I'm still hooked on finding more loud/fast stuff.

Very cool! I love instrumental rock, like Joe Satriani and some of the one offs some bands do, like "The Movie" from Aerosmith.

I hear you! Right up there with some of my favorites! Danny Gatton, Roy Buchanan, Ry Cooder, Chris Duarte, Steve Cropper, Tom Principato...

I love this stuff, thanks for the treat.

You're good. We need a good old instrumental CD...you should put one out. Even if it was a self pubbed Amazon version.
