I was going through my box of AMC cars and came across the Tomica Pacer, which I posted in the Tomica forum, but decided since I had my hands on the other Pacers in my collection I would pull them out for a few pictures.

Good stuff. I've got the beige and brown version of the JL release. I used to have the Ertl version with the opening hood. Aren't the Ertl and JL the same casting?

The casting is sourced from Racing Champions albeit in the JL iteration the hood was cast shut cause it was opened the wrong way on the original version.

John you have a variation with the Motormax that has the black side trim as opposed to the normal silver. My own collection is missing the Universal and Tomica versions. Always thought the Motormax one was the best proportionally speaking.
