Today I was compelled by "the Force" to go diecast hunting, against my better nature (I hate going shopping for toys EVERY SINGLE DAY)....but it turned out "the Force" was truly with me today!

Three columns from 3 different Shopko stores....in order of the hunt from right to left.

The "Ryker TMST" from Planes Fire & Rescue was a yesterday find at Target.

The first store, just around the corner from my neighborhood, yielded these:

Gotta love that Mack B....

That stroke of luck inspired my trip about 3 miles to the east to the next nearest Shopko, where the middle column was found. I even was able to leave a couple Ford Marshall [sic] Interceptors on the pegs, but alas there was only one International Brush Fire truck to be had.

The Torque Titan looks pretty sharp in it's new blue clothes (but not INC livery).

The 2nd lucky decision led me to the realization I couldn't go back home until I headed west on the freeway about 20 miles to another Shopko, where the left-hand column was picked up (another Mack B, a spare Charger and Tacoma--all 3 for a fall/winter custom/mod project, and the BTTF Toyota pickup from HW Entertainment series). AS I was turning to walk out of the aisle with my booty, a flash of yellow and orange on the FLOOR caught the corner of my eye, and there was the 2nd International Workstar BRushfire truck!

People of SW Idaho, I have now filled my quota for Batch K (less the little drill rig...which was absent. Not sure if it's supposed to be in this batch, but it's listed on the card back where everything else is in this batch).

Wow! You were very lucky, that's for sure! Hopefully I'll be able to find this batch, probably the one of the best of 2014!

Oddly enough, my local Meijer had the Mack B about a week after I purchased it at WalMart. Odd.

Joe, as I've probably mentioned here before, I've still not seen a Mack pumper in a Walmart anywhere. I did find a Boone County Charger and a Tacoma at a nearby store a couple weeks ago, but not a batch with the Mack. Around here, it seems Target and Shopko are the places to buy Matchbox, of late.

You were really lucky.

I've been to nearly all the stores that I know carry Matchbox near me. I think I'll have to go to the three Walmarts that are a half an hour to 45 minutes away, in addition to the Kmarts, CVS's, and any other store that carries Matchbox that I know of.
