Hey Guys,

Picked this up at this years 2014 Gathering of Friends in NM this past July.

it is a Midgetoy car / trailer with sail boat.

the car and boat trailer are die-cast, but the sailboat , complete w/ rudder is all plastic.

the guy i bought it from had like 5 of this same model in those small square coffin cases. i just needed one, would have liked to find others

these are 1/87 th I believe

I love those old Midgetoy models - have seen the car in other colors but not the sailboat. Neat set!

Support your local demo derby.

Is there any way to determine the age of these? I read Dave and Kimmo's entry in the Diecast Encyclopedia and it appears that Midgetoy was in production till 1985. Later brand new older stock was found and sold in 2000.
