The vehicle and wheel styles aren't really my thing, and Jada were always a bit bigger than I like to collect too, but even though, I had still considered this set when they were available in 2006-07 being a group of emergency models and all, but after they were gone from the diecast aisle, I later found the set on the clearance aisle for like 75% off, so I couldn't pass it up that time. I mostly got it for the tanker and flat bed wrecker, but I thought it all looked pretty good as a set anyway. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I feel the same about most Jadas...but at 75% off, I would've grabbed this set as well. Nice score that. |

These aren't very realistic emergency vehicles. That price point would be the only thing making me buy them. The only one I really like is the '41 Willys Coupe police car. |

The set tempted me mostly because of the Willys Police car but never did pick it up as the other models really did interest me enough to pay the price. And I always figured someday I would find the Willys loose in a sale forum or such. |

Once Jada added realistic emergency vehicles....granted, mostly police cars...I got more interested in the company. The Hero Patrol series has found many of its members in my toy room. I also collected a couple of the hot rod-ish rigs, but Hero Patrol rescued me from those. |

I collected some Jada several years ago--I think shortly after they arrived on the scene. They had some nice models then. Sometimes the wheels were blingy, sometimes not bad. They are all a bit big, like the hero patrol--of which I have purchased only a couple just to have a sampling of them in my collection. Plus I wanted to see them out of package. They are nice enough, but not overwhelming in a way that lured me in to buy more. |

Here are a few Jadas I've snagged over the years. Not emergency vehicles, but you might have to call the fire department:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Well the tanker claims to hold 1500 gallons, but would that be enough to douse all those flames.
