This has been in the woods near where I'm staying at the moment, for many years, I ran it through some photo editing programs. Can't get close to it since property is posted with numerous no trespassing signs, was zoomed in

Nice photo, Chris! Shame it's just sitting like that, though.

Thanks! I'm guessing it's completely rotted underneath due to the climate here and how it appears to be sinking into the ground... I know of a guy who parts out 40s-60s Mopars who is trying to buy it with the grille and (if equipped) early hemi as his main goals

A picture like that would look awesome in the Hemmings Abandoned Autos calendar that they do each year. It is a great picture Chris as the forest reclaims this old dinosaur of the '50's :D

Thanks. This car has always been there as long as I can remember, and the owner told me he drove it there in the early 80s. The owner sold a '40 or '41 Ford pickup that had a custom interior resembling the old Monogram model kit and 1940 DeLuxe car headlight conversion, and a 1946-47 Hudson pickup with a similar interior, both in red oxide primer with a generous helping of surface rust, a few years ago, and recently scrapped a 40s or 50s Chevy cab & chassis truck that had been sitting in a wooded area at the edge of his property, so there's a chance he'll sell this to someone who could use or resell the parts (probably too rusty to save, and it's a 4-door, non-Carryall sedan).
