As the title suggests, this is a game where I describe a car. It can be a TV or movie car, or any car in general. The person who guesses correctly goes next and so on. I'll start.

-It's silver
-It's one of the most iconic cars of all time
-It's British

It was a concept vehicle that was put into production so it would be able to used as the pace car for the indianapolis 500 when the original vehicle submitted by the manufacturer was shot down because it was not American made.

This sedan shared a platform with a Saab, but had an engine from a Ferrari.

Lancia Thema 8.33.
Close enough that I'll give it to you as I know it's what you meant. It was a Lancia Thema, but 8.32 (8 for the number of cylinders and 32 for the number of valves). I had to look that one up myself as my memory had it as the 8.4 (4 valves per cylinder)

OK, easy one, as it's all I've got. This car was developed as a race car with the sole purpose of beating Ferrari after Enzo Ferrari backed out of a deal with the company that made it.

hahaha. That's my favorite car of all time. I'm gonna let someone else have it though. :D I think you and I share the same automotive tastes. And also. The revival was also introduced as a concept car a smidge before the "rival" vehicle was introduce as well. Talk about a rivalry.

You got it Joe. W Body, the GT40 is tied with the 300 SL Gullwing as my favorite car that's not a Ferrari. I find the Ford/ Ferrari rivalry from that time even more interesting than the Lamborghini/ Ferrari rivalry.

I do too. and WTF our favorite cars are the exact same. Miura is up there too, along with the 365 GTB/4 :D, and I hate to bring domestic cars into the mix the GT40, the early Mako C3s, and Buick Riviera are favorites as well.

But, carry on, JoeX :D

Hmm, I can think of a couple that fit that bill. Since we were just talking about it, my guess would be the Lamborghini Veneno?
