Will be there 1st week of November, staying in Queens but will have a car and easy access to the Subway. Any tips on where to go for diecast? :D

Also tips on what to do? I have 2 full days and a bit.

Bad idea about TRU Times Square. I happened to be on a trip to NYC about three years ago, and decided to stop by there to pickup the Tomica two pack containing the Toyota Himedic and Hino Type III heavy rescue. I asked someone there where and I don't think he had the least idea what I was talking about. (I later found those two in a better livery at Tractor Supply last year) There are a lot of small shops that carry the Realtoy stuff, but be ready for price shock, as the price averaged out of a car in those sets is more than a Greenlight, M2 Machine or basic Siku.

The thing about the TS TRU, at least when I was there, was that the pegs were loaded. Greenlights don't make their way to Canada easily if I recall, could be a good chance to pick some up.

Greenlight is not usually an issue up here. TRU carries GL and I've gotten just about every new release that I wanted. Plus we do have a diecast shop that carries GL though priced a little higher, but they do have every single new release. Also, TRU is committing to offering more GL in Canada:

Currently I have to stop by every week to see if they have new stuff though and it usually takes them a month or 2 to get maybe 1 or 2 boxes.

What I really want are the older stuff, before they moved to their new production facility.

Yeah I'll definitely check out TRU in TS, since, as a tourist, I'll be at TS LOL.
