Very nice! Wasn't there a JL tow truck that kind of looked like a NYPD unit?

There were two...a blue one and a white one. The blue is dark though. But the markings are the same as these cars. Not sure if I have the LTD Crown Vic either...though I may have grabbed it one year at CARnival and ended up packing it away in a plastic tub. That first year I moved here had a lot of scattered diecast that I just put into tubs to organize and never got back to.

The LTD is from the Ghostbusters scene 2 pack.

The tow trucks were right for the time. traffic was white when the cars were white over blue and switched to dark blue when the RMPs switched to white. Now the city is using a lot of all white with the NYPD to make it look like there are a lot more patrols on the street, even if all of the vehicles do not have police officers in them.

That LTD is cool- wish I had come across those back in the day... I don't have a good pic- guess I'll have to add that to the 'need some updated shots list' but here's one of those JLPD "hooks" at the 2013 LE vehicle show:

Here is a 1:1 at a fire and police museum in the UK. Not sure if it is real, a film prop or just plain made up.

JL did some very nice police cars - the St. Albans car is part of the Beat the Heat series and was only available in a multipack.

The SC Camaro was part of the JL American Blue series of police cats. They did a number of very nice police cars.

interesting- I have the blank Camaros with a light bar, but not any of those SCHP. got a bunch of those American Blue vehicles on clearance years ago... did a few customs with some, sold off some others.
