Been wanting a green Comet for a while, nostalgic for Fresh Cherries and stopped into my local diecast-stocking antique shop.![]() Bare body. Love that sage green ![]() Greasy valve cover. ![]() Fake wood dash ![]() Fake wood and different vinyl textures highlighted ![]() Malaise era beauty ![]() Was a fun build and not at all frustrating. Want to find the red Gremlin X again and build a Levi's X replica, but no hurry |

Nice model! My mom drove an old Maverick she bought used in that or a similar color. a good running comfortable car as I remember. She worked for Chrysler though, they made her park in the far lot at work. lol |

Thank you! I wouldn't be opposed to a real Maverick or Comet as a daily driver |

Very cool! I used to build model kits back in the day. Actually, I'm sure many of us here probably did as well =) |

Thanks everyone! Hoping the green Pinto kit with the white top shows up, would love to get one of those again, paint the seats and panels white against the green dash & carpet, put a CB radio in it and dullcoat the white top, just like my first one that my mom destroyed to "teach me something" |

A lot of Comet guys I've talked to at car shows refuse to acknowledge this car as a Comet. |
