I received my box of the Toyota II series by Kyosho.![]() I opened the case, and checked all the boxes but haven't had a chance to take pictures yet. There are 24 cars in the series, but a case contains only 20. My assortment included... Century - black, blue, silver Crown - white, pink Toyota 86 - No. 165, No. 166, white 2x Hiace - white, black Prius - light blue, red Land Cruiser - white, black FJ Cruiser - blue, orange, 86 x Style Cb - gold, black, Secret Car - Prius PHV exclusive Circle K Sunkus Hiace (was a separate purchase) I had one duplicate in the box - 2 of the white Gazoo Racing Toyota 86 Nurburgring 24h. Now I'll need to try and track down the missing colors. I'll post pictures as soon as I'm able to take them. |

Nice! Those HiAce's really do it for me. The Century and the Crown too. Mine has already been purchased, just waiting to be shipped to me!

Congrats on the secret car! Sounds like a pretty decent mix of colors, although that's the first I've heard of a duplicate being in a case. I should hopefully have mine any day now, I have the tan FJ, black Land Cruiser, blue Prius, #165 Gazoo 86, and black club style 86 coming. |

The ones that I want the most from this case are the 86s (of course), the FJ Cruiser, and the 86 style Cb. Congrats on the purchase, Michael! On another note, does anyone know if these are available in singles somewhere? |

Thanks guys. I'll try to get some pictures up as soon as possible. I'm taking my wife to the airport tomorrow because she's flying back home to Japan for a 10 day visit... I'm stuck at home to take care of the dog and look after my pops. Ben - one of my contacts in Japan had mentioned that duplicates were showing up in this assortment. I actually expected more, so I was very happy to only have one duplicate. Stampede - You might try contacting Sopikey (Yannick) from 829 Japan. The only other place I can think that you'll be able to find singles (besides Yahoo Auctions Japan [YAJ]) will be eBay. I had a friend in Japan purchase the complete case for me, direct from Circle K online. I'll probably wind up getting my missing colors through YAJ with his help. |

Thanks for letting me know. I took a look at Yahoo Auctions Japan, and there are some good ones, but it'll be something I'll have to keep in mind for the future (not to mention that I basically have no idea how the website works...) |

Yeah, searching YAJ works best if you can use Japanese characters. Otherwise if you know exactly what you're after Sopikey can search for your cars. I've bought a lot from him and he's very helpful. |

You have to live in Japan to use I believe. There is a website that makes it easier for us in the US though, www.jauce.com. As it translates everything to English. I've used it a few times and then sent the link to Sopikey (Yannick) and had him order it. There are a lot more fees involved than ebay and you have to pay shipping twice, so the real price may be double the listed price but its great for really hard to find cars and sometimes can still end up cheaper for newer ones. |

What 250 TR said. Almost all YAJ sellers only ship within Japan, so yes, a person would need to use either one of the proxy purchasing services or someone in Japan to make any purchase. Fees can add-up to make an otherwise "cheap" model rather expensive. However, if done right you can still save, especially if you can combine with multiple orders and have them shipped overseas together. On the positive side, using YAJ can open up a whole slew of things you might not find elsewhere. I guess I take a lot of that for granted since I have friends and family-in-law that lives there.

Got box just before the weekend. I got lucky and didn't get any dupes. My favorite is easily the HiAce by far and I have a feeling this might be the most popular model in Japan of this release and was also lucky enough to get all 3 colors. Also it looks like it's sold out on the Circle K website so it looks like this was a popular release! The 86 x Style is one seriously HIDEOUS car and I question why it was included in this release... |

Yeah I dunno there are SOOOO many Toyotas out there and I wonder why they decided to do stuff like that 86 and the Prius since every one and their dog has done one. But that's just me I guess. |

Haha... I agree. I'm just happy to get anything Toyota. I do wish Kyosho and other manufacturers would fill in some of the gaps though.
