I would have to say this is my favorite toys of the 60s. Because of the thrill I remember having when I was opening the gifts for my birthday party. Loved and cared for this bunch for many, many moons!!

I loved (and still do) each of those vehicles. They were the first "realistic" miniature toy fire engines a kid could buy with their allowance, and started me on a lifelong quest to collect/own every one of them. (I found all of the ones you showed when in my teens, save for the fire station. Didn't find that until a work trip to Georgia or West Virginia back in the early oughts.)

Never did hunt down one of those cool fire stations, but definitely have those great models, the Land Rover, Pumper, and Galaxie have always been amongst my favorites, but I'd grown a fondness for the Fairlane since I started collecting.
