I have been trying my best to complete this line. 5 years have passed and these are all that I have.

Hope you can share here the other variants as well so that I can make it as a reference. It would be much appreciated.

Yes you do have a really nice collection.

I just happened to have this picture handy, so here are a couple I'm not seeing in your pic.

The T2 in orange issued as a regular single in 2008 (first release), and in red issued as a regular single in 2009.

Thank you guys. Its so hard to find those beauties most especially there are millions who adore Kombis.

@dugmytoys,
I do have those 3 already but there are times that I cannot open card for sentimental reasons :D

And there are also times that I feel I can open anything that I want for that moment.

@pjedsel,
Nice,lots of exclusives. Did you got those white buses from conventions?

Very nice collections, kurikabu, Doug and John! I have one VW bus in my collection, and it is one of my favorite pieces. As a result, I am now kicking myself for not buying more variants...

Wow! What an amazing collection you have there, sir. And just from one model. How needs a reference book to see all the variations of the VW Transporter when you have all here in pictures. Thanks for sharing poorvanner your fantastic collection.

Jeez poorvanner.. Way to kill the thread hahaha. That's a crazy collection! It also surprises that those MBX SF boxes fit inside a Jammers.

Man I can totally mistake some of those early SF's for Tomica.

Sorry... :wacko:

And yes, the boxes are tight, but they go in. Just have to pick the right slots in the case.

Brian, those are some great looking versions. I never imagined they made so many promos and show models of the VW, the time you must have spent hunting them all down is quite something to think about in itself. :thumbup:

Thanks Doug,
And very interesting you mention that. It does cost a lot in time. (besides that other stuff)
A lot of time has just slipped away. Getting harder to keep it up.

Anyone want any better pics of anything in particular, let me know.

My apologies, I never got back to check on this thread.

Your collection is awesome Brian. I never thought that the vw bus line is way too extensive.

Well done in doing your homework buddy. Congrats!

one question, did you happened to see the blue MBX Lesney with gas tank? Can't visualize the gas tank in the picture but what I am sure of is that it is located on the rear left side of the car.

Thank you. It was a labor of love.
I am however, still missing many.

Regarding the gas filler, it was on the very first issue. And there are 2 in the pic that you show. The top 2 on the left. They are variations. ;) First one is regular, the second was made without the window glass.
Here is a closer pic of them. I think you can see the gas filler in this pic.
