While cleaning up some few weeks ago, I ran across this diecast in a box of loose "stuff". I picked it out and Hey! It's a 76-77 Toyota Celica! That is one of my favorite body styles for the Celica, as it looks like a fastback Mustang. I was never sure they made one of these, and then I find one that I acquired some time ago and had totally forgotten about. Huh. I really surprise myself sometimes, with the stuff I've collected and since forgotten about. Man, I need my own museum! Instead of brown boxes. :P
Anyway, thought I'd post it, as you don't see THIS year represented much at all, that I've seen. Any other maker/models of this 2-year only body style?

Jerry

Due to the casting number starting with P, it looks like it might be A ZEE or Zylmex

It's definitely by Zylmex/Zee. A nice early one Jerry, not easy to find.

To my knowledge only 3 small-scale manufacturers made the '74 Celica Liftback 2000 GT. Tomica released it as #86. I also have this Tins Toys version #T240
