Got these two from a guy in the Netherlands. Love these little cars. Check out the Matchbox comparison.

Very nice models, I'm surprised how much bigger the Mbx VW is, I guess the Efsi is maybe more like an HO scale then?

Maybe the MB VW is a little oversized to start with?

Very nice. I think a lot of people forget about the small series of cars that EFSI did - most are used to the Ford Model T's and the Commer Vans and such. The cars were always listed as being 1/66th scale - same as Schuco and Polistil Penny of the time. They are nice models and not seen all that often.

I'm rather partial to the Ford T's, but I still get a kick out of other EFSI's when I run across them.

Always a pleasure to see some Efsi cars. Thanks for sharing

For the record, I believe the Matchbox VW 1600TL was officially scaled at 1/61, hence the larger dimensions compared to the 1/66 Efsi.

Thanks. You figure with MB sharing wheels between castings, the scale would fluctuate a little. This comparison is also a reminder of how terrific Matchbox models were for their time, or even now.

Efsi is smaller than schucco; mostly marked as 1:68 at forums.
Very nice Efsi cars, thanks for sharing :-)
