I am not sure if Mike (T-Geek) did a review on these cars already but I received mine yesterday. First impression. Beautiful cars. Upon opening the base of the plastic case said Kyosho. No surprise. Some of the OEM and CM cases said Kyosho. Looking at the bottom of the car I was surprised that it said Kyosho as well. As luck would have it I happened to have a First Edition Skyline and a Beads Z car. Other than the mirrors and wheels I don't see any real difference. At about $20 it might be worth thinking twice if you already have a Kyosho version. ![]() Edited by Atencio, Dec 28 2014, 11:04 PM.

Wow.... I did post something on Car-Nel a few weeks ago - http://swiftysgarage.net/topic/7292966/1 - but I never looked at the underside of the plastic base or of the car. I had no idea they were actually Kyosho. I still like them, but probably won't get too many more... |

That's quite a disappointing revelation. I'm glad I waited. The price had me second guess these, and I wanted to see what people who got them thought of them. So, the million dollar question is: can Car-Nel 64 be considered a 1/64 maker? Or were they made by Kyosho for a distributor who put Car-Nel 64 on the package? Maisto cars have been sold as Tonkas, but we all still call those cars Maistos, as an example. |

Yep..... for my own classification and filing system, I'm listing them as Car-Nel, since that is how they are marketed. However, there will be a major notation that they are made by Kyosho. |
