Support your local demo derby.

Dodge started a revolution in truck designs with their then new model 1500 in 1994. ERTL released the '94 Dodge 1500, '04 Dodge 2500 and '11 2500 and Greenlight issued '14 Ram 1500 in late 2014.

The silver '11 2500 is among my favorite models made by anyone in 1/64. With dandy scaled wheels, opening hood and a painted bed it's a gem of a model.

The Ram was popular in the small scale scene.

Johnny Lightning made a decent version.

I love that '94 Ertl casting. The rest are good too! Die-cast has been good to the full size Chrysler pickups.

I have several Dodge trucks in my collection, the most unique being the Matchbox Dodge Kew Series trucks.

I have the Deere dealership version of the JL Ram 1500, but I'd like to track down that Walker, Texas Ranger version down.

I like those trucks

Matchbox did one as well, maybe early 2000s body style, but of course they had to go and put oversize wheels on it.

I have a couple a little larger scale, maybe 1/50, of an off brand... a then and now type two pack, although the then current version of the pair would be older now, its been a few years since I got it....I'll try to find it and post pics.

Nice collection, Craftymore!

Aside from the Greenlight version, the only other one that I posses in my collection is the Johnny Lightning version that Jeff has shown.

Would one of them be a somewhat crude late green 1970s Power Wagon with "Highway Maintenance on the hood ?

I know I have four of those trucks, a Ford F-150, a Chevy S10? a Dodge Ram 1500 and a 1970s Dodge Power Wagon.

Yeah Cody, it could be the same maker, the older style one seems like it was a 70s Dodge, and I think it was green as well, or at least one of them is, and they are kind of crude castings too, although I don't remember the tampo on the hood....hopefully I'll find it and we'll see, but I had no luck when looking last night, tomorrow I can look again.

Found them, shown below with a MBX for size, the two pack models measure about 4", so what is that about 1/54 scale or so, and they have an opening plastic tailgate. I don't know what year the newer Dodge is, it's actually a light bluish purple color, but I liked that the set included the old Dodge.

Dodge made the same basic bodystyle from the early 70s up till '93. Those two just went on my lengthy want list!

Thanks for the pics!

I think GL's version of the Ram is the best one so far. I'm especially impressed that you can get it for the same price as any other GL model despite the size of the casting.
