Found this on the local flea market today and remmeber only seeing it in expensive garage playests including another car by the same maker (model eludes me at the moment) Who could be the maker of this Mustang? I am pretty sure it is not one of the main chinese players like Welly, Realtoy, Motor Max, Suntoys et, but who could it be? The base only indicates "Made in China" (where else...). ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Thanks for any hints! |

I've never seen the expensive garage playsets with this car in it. No clues in the wheels for me, either. Good luck! |

"expensive" is a matter of budget of course, but i always refused paying 49 euros for that set just to have two diecast cars out of it. The cars in the set were always very interesting, but not for that price. i hope i will run across the other one on some flea maeket eventually... |

Taillights are inaccurate, though! Too wide! |

I keep looking at the pictures and those wheels keep reminding me of the wheels on the old Ideal slam shifter cars. |

It is just the tampo that is too wide. I could correct it to be more accurate. Not a big deal. |

Licensed Motormax 3" models are typically better proportioned so I'd cross them off the list. Welly tends to be on the larger side of their modern car releases on the 1/60 side or so. Realtoys offers better detailing and much better tampo hits. Suntoys could be a possibility but I would have thought by now we'd have seen this model sold at dollar stores. |

That's what i thought. it is surely none of those manufacturers, plus i have the Welly casting which is better proportioned. it would be interesting to see who actually stands behind this model, but most probably weŽll never know. |
